Having considered the implications of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and following guidance issued by Public Health England, The Bridge Foundation is at present running all services as normal: no therapy sessions have been cancelled. The Bridge Foundation’s senior management team and board of trustees are monitoring the situation regarding coronavirus on an ongoing basis.
If clients or staff develop coronavirus symptoms, they will be advised to self-isolate for 7 days. Stay at home for 7 days if you have either:
- a high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
- a new, continuous cough – this means you’ve started coughing repeatedly
If you’re currently having therapy sessions at The Bridge Foundation and we need to cancel your appointment we will contact you directly. If you have any concerns about coming in for your sessions, please contact us on 0117 9424510 or firstname.lastname@example.org .
To minimise social contact we are also requesting that clients aim to arrive at the time of their appointment. You may like to warn young children attending that as an extra precaution, we will be taking away shared toys for the time being.
Please practise good hand hygiene in line with NHS recommendations and wash hands when you enter a new environment or return home.
If you have recently returned from somewhere on the list of high risk areas on the UK government’s website, please follow the up-to-date advice on the gov.uk website.
