Families are offered a minimum of
two assessment sessions to explore concerns before deciding on the
most appropriate way forward. Where necessary, the therapist
may suggest extending the number of assessment session to four,
before making a recommendation regarding further work.
This scale of fees is reviewed
regularly. It should be read in conjunction with the page on the
Bridge Foundation’s Child and Family Psychotherapy Service.
Referring Agencies and Insurance Companies
The cost of providing assessment sessions for clients referred to us
by agencies is £120 per session (£180 if two therapists involve).
Following initial contact, we would charge for a preliminary
briefing, or conversation, between the service manager and the
agency referrer(s) at the same rate. This would normally
include a meeting between the professionals involved. Briefing
would be followed up by up to four assessment sessions before
planning further work. Treatment sessions are £90 per session (£135
if two therapists are involved).
Notes
1. A “session” will usually last for 50 minutes.
